MDPI aims to support researchers at every stage of this process through initiatives such as the Academic Publishing Workshop held at Western University on 26 February 2026, led by Journal Relations Specialist Megan Taylor.
Participants received practical guidance on writing academic articles, organizing research papers, navigating peer review, and upholding research integrity. This workshop additionally covered developments and challenges related to AI in publishing, helping attendees understand how to use AI responsibly in their research.
📅 Date: 26 February 2026
⏰ Time: 12:30–13:30 EST
By the end of the workshop, attendees left with actionable strategies to strengthen their submissions and engage more confidently with the academic publishing landscape. It was a pleasure connecting with the research community at Western University, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful questions, open discussion, and collaborative spirit throughout the session.
