MDPI Canada at eSim 2026: Advancing Sustainability and Climate Resilience

At the Université de Sherbrooke’s Longueuil Campus in Longueuil, Québec, Canada from June 17–19, researchers, practitioners, and industry professionals came together for eSim 2026, exchanging ideas and exploring the latest developments in building performance simulation. Centered on sustainability and climate resilience, the conference explored the latest advancements in building performance simulation and highlighted the growing role of these technologies in high-performance building design, building sector decarbonization, and climate adaptation.

MDPI representatives were present throughout the conference, actively engaging with members of the building performance simulation community, including leading researchers such as Prof. Dr. Avi Friedman, Editor-in-Chief of Architecture MDPI, and contributing to discussions on emerging directions in sustainable and climate-resilient design.
